The Myofascial technique is a deceptively gentle technique that works at a deep level to create a change in the body.
Myofascial is quite simply the glue that holds everything together in the body.
Working at this level creates gradual, positive change in the musculoskeletal systems.
It has a range of applications including:
- increasing range of motion
- decreasing pain
- increasing coordinative processes in the neuro-muscular system
This technique is also capable of affecting positive change on both the musculoskeletal system and the autonomic nervous system as it provides stimuli to the somatosensory cortex of the brain. This in turn leads to efferent flows that influence the motor neurons of the autonomic nervous system.
