The body is a complex organism, a constant interplay of different organ systems work to maintain optimum health called homeostasis.  If one organ system is not functioning correctly or is out of balance the entire body is adversely affected.   Like a complex jigsaw puzzle all pieces of the puzzle must be functioning correctly for health to be achieved and maintained.
